Microsoft Build 2023: ChatGPT shines, and the Microsoft AI extension kit ecosystem shines!

Microsoft has launched a series of artificial intelligence (AI) applications this year, including expanding its cooperation with OpenAI. The Azure OpenAI service supports ChatGPT and GPT-4 models, launched multiple Copilot application scenarios, and is in the Bing search engine and Edge browser. Integrate the latest AI technology. Microsoft is committed to accelerating breakthroughs in AI applications and ensuring these changes have a positive impact around the world.

At the Microsoft Build developer conference, National Taiwan Normal University demonstrated a themed situational English chatbot called CoolE Bot. It uses Azure OpenAI service, Microsoft’s AI technology, speech recognition and speech synthesis technology to create a situational conversation environment to help learners improve their English speaking skills. This is the world’s first case of applying Azure OpenAI services to education and learning, and it also demonstrates Taiwan’s strength in AI technology.

Microsoft has achieved multiple key milestones in the field of AI, including adding support for ChatGPT and GPT-4 models, improving the availability of Azure OpenAI services; launching multiple Copilot applications, such as Dynamics 365 Copilot, Microsoft 365 Copilot and Power Platform Copilot; The latest AI technology is integrated into the Bing search engine and expanded to the Windows 11 toolbar, mobile devices and Skype; the Bing Image Creator application is launched and open for platform preview.

Copilot is an application that uses modern AI technology and large language models (LLMs) such as GPT-4 to help users handle complex tasks. Plugins support ChatGPT and Bing search engines, enhancing the capabilities of the AI system and allowing it to interact with application programming interfaces (APIs) of other software and services. Microsoft will use the same extension kit standard as OpenAI’s ChatGPT, and developers can build extension kits to connect customers and business ends.

As part of the extension platform, the Bing search engine has also added support for extensions, including Instacart, Kayak, Klarna, Redfin and Zillow.
